Sitecore Installation & Configuration 

Prerequisites 

• Check IIS (Internet Information Services) installed in your local computer and if not install the latest version of IIS. 
• Install MSSQL 2019 and create login and password 
   

Installing Sitecore 8.2

Download Sitecore setup from below link and follow the instructions given in the screenshots 
 

1. Click Next 

2. Select New Instance and click Next 

3. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Next 

4. Select Complete and click Next 

5. Give the Instance Name that you want and click Next 

6. Select the Sitecore license file and click Next 

7. Now enter the MSSQL login Id and Password for Sitecore database installation and click Next 

8. Click Next 

9. Give the website name and click Next  

10. Click Install/Next 

11. Wait for the installation to complete 

12. Click finish 

13. Now open browser and try to access websitename that you gave during installation process Example: http://{instancename}/sitecore 

14. You should see sitecore page Enter default username and password 

Username: admin            

Password : b 

15. If you can access page, Sitecore installed successfully.
